My battery door says it is open?

Hi! On my battery spot light cam, the batteries are draining like crazy, on the app is says the battery door is open? It’s not, I’ve opened, closed it and have to try to pull it open. Has this happened to anyone else? I’ve had it up about 4 months.Thanks for any help with this
