Moving and can't take Ring-How to deactivate

We will be moving from our current home that has the ring doorbell attached and informed that it will need to stay with the new owner. How can I deactivate the ring from my account, when needed? I want to make sure that I am not paying for the new owners access and can add a new Ring doorbell once we are in our new home, to our existing account.

You can remove the doorbell from your account in the app.

I would suggest removing your credit card on your Ring account. Once removed, there will be no subscription payments that will go through. Once you have a new Ring device, you can then add your payment information again to subscribe to the plan.
