Ring app cant complete setup its stuck in 95 and repeat again setup can i get help?

Hi @Mads. I am happy to chime in. I recommend rebooting your Doorbell by pressing and holding the setup button on it for 20–25 seconds. Also, reboot your router by unplugging it from power for a few seconds and plugging it back in. We also have this page with other steps to try when setup keeps failing. If these steps do not help, most likely the issue is trying to use a Ring Doorbell in an unsupported region. This page will give you the regions that Ring does support at the moment.

Hi @Mads. Are you trying to download the Ring app or set up a Ring device? If you’re installing the Ring app, you’ll need to ensure there is enough storage space on your phone. If you’re setting up a Ring device, try resetting it by holding down the setup button for 20 seconds then attempt a new setup.

Motion Zone is a black box

I tried to setup motion zone and I dragged the box in the area I wanted and expanded it to the appropriate size and now I have a black box that shows up in live view as well and cannot see anything. I went to the Motion Zones and the previous zone I had setup was there and I could select it but this crazy black box is there and I cannot get rid of it! Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas as to how I can get rid of this black box? Thank you.

Nevermind! I figured it out. I had inadvertently set the privacy zone which is to exclude other areas (for neighbor's privacy) and that is what was showing up on the zone. I deleted it and all good now.
