Not sure if this has been addressed in another post, but just curious why the motion warning feature is only available on select(ed) wireless [pro] cameras, and not on all [pro] cameras. Ex. One hardwired floodlight camera pro has this, but my other (2) plug-in spotlight camera pro(s) do not. It should not have to depend on the type of power supply (battery/plug-in/hardwired/refurbished/brand-new, etc.) units I have. Can someone please explain? These cameras are fully capable of this, and it should not have to be purposefully omitted. Thank you…
The Motion Warning feature is a digital recording that notifies visitors that they have triggered motion detection and are being recorded.
The recording plays through the speaker on your Ring device. It says: Hi, you are currently being recorded. You cannot adjust the volume of this recording.

the original question was WHY is it not supported on certain cameras?
i purchased the spotlight cam PRO plug-in and just realized the option for motion warning is not available.
yet my older, spotlight cam wired (gen 2) does include the feature.
both cameras plug into an outlet for power. the newer, spotlight cam PRO is more expensive. why can i not turn that feature on?
