Motion settings are different between devices.

Motion settings on my new Pro doorbell is missing features like motion verification. My old/original ring doorbell has these features shown in the same ring app. I’ve noticed the same for the ring camera. Any idea if these features have to be activated on each device separately? If so, how?

I’m struggling with over sensitive motion detection and would like to enable these features in hopes they help…

Hi @SteveR221. Different devices uses different types of motion detection. Some of our battery operated devices use a Passive Infrared detection, while our hardwired powered devices use the Advanced Motion Detection. We are currently rolling out our Customizable Motion Zones to streamline the way devices detect motion and be more accurate. I hope this information helps!
