Hi if I have a zonal area marked out , if someone enters the zonal area and presses the doorbell, do I get 2 notifications 1 to say there is motion and 1 to say that someone is at the front door ?
Hi @Johnsond. Yes, you are correct. You will receive an alert that motion is detected, as well as an alert when the Doorbell button is pressed. I hope that helps!

Will both the motion and the the ring door bell pressed show up on my history as Only see the doorbell been pressed on the history ?
@Johnsond Both should show up in your Event History. You can test this by walking up to your Doorbell and then pressing the button. It should trigger both the motion event and the Doorbell ring event in the Event History.
Does somebody know if both events can be used to trigger e.g. a recording of a linked Floodlight Cam?
I want to start Floodlight recoding only when button is pressed events, but not for motion detections events.
