Motion Detector Ring Alarm

I have a motion detector that is constantly running through batteries. I've replaced them three or four times and have only had to replace the battery once in one of my other detectors. I noticed the last time that I replaced the battery that the blue light that normally flashes stayed on and am wondering if this indicates some sort of problem that may be causing the battery drain.

Hi @pjb171. The batteries on your Motion Detector should not be draining this quickly. Typically, battery life will depend on the amount of use your Motion Detector is experiencing and the signal strength of you Motion Detector. To look more into detail on this, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406).
