Is it possible that sunlight directly into the camera lens would set off a motion alert?
Hey @KenM. This is in fact possible, depending on the type of Ring Video Doorbell you have. If you have a battery powered Doorbell, then that would indicate that it has a PIR motion sensor, which will trigger a motion alert if there is a change in the heat signature in the Motion Zones.
