Motion capture suddenly stopped working

Apologies if this has been discussed (no doubt) before. I have a Ring 2 Pro doorbell and it's been working fine for 2 years approx now. 3 weeks ago, it just stopped capturing any motion despite there being people coming and going. So I reset the device and all worked fine. 3 days ago, I have had zero motion captured again. No settings have been changed. I don't really want to continue to reset the device every time, so I am wondering if anybody else experienced such issues and found a solution? TIA J

Hi @Goty19. Your Doorbell Pro 2 should be alerting you to motion as long as it's online and motion detection is enabled. Double-check your [Modes settings](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036107792-Control-All-of-Your-Ring-Devices-with-Modes) to make sure don't have motion detection disabled there. Then check the [RSSI](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/217271526-Checking-Your-Ring-Device-s-Wifi-Signal-Strength) on the Device Health page to verify that your Doorbell is receiving a strong and stable wifi connection. After completing the above, you can perform a quick reboot in the Ring app using the [reboot option](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/7438395032980-Rebooting-your-Video-Doorbell-or-Security-Camera) on the Device Health page. This should only take a few moments. If this issue continues to happen after trying these troubleshooting steps, olease follow up with our [support team](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406#callus) so they can take a closer look. If you are outside of the US, please visit [here ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406)to see how to contact support.
