Motion alerts on TV via SmartThings

My ultimate goal is to have motion alerts received from Ring Doorbell on my tv, the Ring device (Ring Doorbell 4) on a Samsung QN90A. I added the Ring device to my TV per instructions here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00087644/ and it's listed on the SmartThings app on TV, but it will not work. If this Doorbell is not compatible is there any chance on a future firmware update? Thx.
