Mode Changes Automatically

Am I missing a something or not looking in the right place for the setting or does the ring video doorbell app really not have the logic programmed to use the location geo-sensing in your smart phone to know when you are Home (mode) versus Away (more) like the Smarty Security app associated with my Ooma VoIP phone and security systems. It changes modes automatically as I come and go. My ring device should do the same things.
