At the beginning of any motion detection or door bell alert there is a always a couple of seconds of footage missing which is the most critical as it is when someone is near the door. Why does the camera not just film continuesly
Hi @Dav! When a motion is detected, your device will begin recording immediately. The speed of connection, notification, and lens adjustment will depend on signal strength and battery/ power levels. It is best to ensure wifi speeds, RSSI, and battery/ power levels are plenty sufficient for the most optimal delivery of video. If you feel that a motion event was recorded later than you would like, try adjusting some motion settings to fine tune the time of detection. I hope this helps! 
Thanks but what I don’t understand is that the video is always recording whether or not there is an alert but it loses 1 or 2 sec of video.
