Missing moths worth of footage
app-settings

I installed my ring came around Feb time . And have been using it with no issues. Just today I've gont to check some footage from the start of April to realise its not there in fact there's a whole amount of time missing the camera was installed so that I could keep a record of interactions with an abusive ex and now they have all gone. Help please this is evidence for court. I'm on Andrioid if that makes any difference

Hi @Echothorn. Are you referring to previously recorded motions or Live Views? To clarify, Ring Cameras and Doorbells do not record continuously or 24/7. If you have a valid [Ring Protect plan](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001671383-General-Information-on-Ring-Protect-Subscription-Plans) subscription, your videos will be saved in the Ring App for up to 60 days. You can then download these videos if you need to keep them for future use or for longer than 60 days. You can learn more about how to download and share your Ring videos in our Help Center Article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001834066-Sharing-and-Downloading-Your-Ring-Videos). It's important to note that you do need an active subscription in order to have your motions or Live Views recorded and saved in the Ring App. Without an active Ring Protect plan, you can still receive notifications and use Live View, but there will not be able to view any recordings. If you have any questions about your plan or need help subscribing, you can give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times. If you are outside of the US, please read our response to COVID-19 [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360041597471) to see how to contact support. :)
