Microphone not working

A Ring device microphone not picking up sound can be due to WiFI connection, power, or even mobile device connection. Please ensure bluetooth and VPN is disabled on your mobile device, and also check out your RSSI in the device health section of the Ring app, to ensure for optimal wifi signal.

Whether battery-powered or wired, remember to also check your power level in the Device Health section of your Ring app. Try out a reset as well, by holding the setup button on your Ring device for 20 seconds. Once complete, reconnect your Ring device and test audio.
