My black stick up cam will not sound off. I press the manual alarm symbol (!) and nothing happens. I’ve got several other cams that will sound off and I’m familiar with the app settings. Thinking it could be defective? Anyone else have this problem?
Hi @Itsjustmeok. Have you tried to reset the Camera yet? If not, I’d definitely recommend doing so by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After the reset is done, walk through another setup in the Ring App and then test out the siren again. If the Stick Up Cam still doesn’t play the siren, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available here so they can take a closer look with you. I reset it and reinstalled it, it chirps for a second (the alarm) and then it stops. Then the camera goes offline and has an error. I have to then close the app, wait several minutes, then I can see a live view. WiFi signal is very strong as well.
Hi @Itsjustmeok. What is the RSSI for the device? This can be found in the Device Health section of the Ring app. If the RSSI is within a useable range, I’d reach out to our support team.
