Live view unavailable while phone is connected to the same wifi network as camera

Having a bizarre issue where I am able to connect to live view on my camera via the Android app using any network other than the wifi network at my home that the camera is connected to. If I am on the wifi network at my home I am able to go live via ring.com . Everything else works, the RSSI signal shows good in the app, I’ve updated and restarted all of the devices involved in the issue.

I am using an Eero wifi router and don’t see anything out of the ordinary in the configuration. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

That didn’t make a difference. I should mention I have the same issue on a pixel 3, pixel 5, and a pixel 6.

Hi @user14920. You are most likely going to have to make some adjustments to your phone settings. You may have change your network settings from IPv6 to IPv4, or vice versa. Also, are you using a VPN on your phone? You will have to disable it as well. Let me know if this works.

Same issue here but using iOS phone. How did you solve? I was on the phone with tech-support and they can’t seem to solve. Pointed me to https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/205385394
