Live view not displaying in ring.com app, but it is recording

I recently tried to access live view via ring.com using Chrome on a windows 10 laptop.

A message came up at the top of the window telling me the microphone was disabled, so I clicked to enable it.
All I can now see is the wait icon with “activating live view”, and it never activates.
After a few minutes I clicked the red phone symbol to exit.

If I then go into my history, I can view the video it recorded during the time it was “activating”.
In other words, it will happily record the live view, but will not display it live.

Any ideas??
