Live-view audio missing at door

I have a Ring Video Doorbell Pro and recently, the intercomm feature in live-view stopped working such that if a person is standing at the door, I cannot speak to that person via the Ring app on my cellphone. I can hear the person at the door, but, the person at the door cannot hear me. Has anyone ever debugged a problem like this before? Help?

Make sure you doorbell volume is up all the way and that your Ring app still has the Microphone permission.
