We cannot view Live Video and none of the motions are showing up in History. We see the live video on the dashboard. There are no problems with internet connection.
Hey @LJensen, what happens when you attempt to load the Live View? Please attach a screenshot of what this looks like so we could see what you’re seeing. Also, if you are having no recordings in your history, do you have an active Ring Protect Plan Subscription? You will need to make sure you have the subscription active in order to see previous recordings. Hope to hear back from you soon!
Ive been using the doorbell for months. It played live video and kept the short recordings, but it stopped working today. Your post sounds like I now need a subscription for those things to work, is that right?
Your live view will operate as normal even if you are not subscribed to a plan. If this is not the case, I recommend checking wifi and mobile device connection. Our Community post about RSSI will help you with optimizing wifi signal strength.
Another great step is removing and reinstalling the Ring app on your mobile device. Feel free to keep us updated on your results.
