my ring 2 stopped working at 8:45 pm last night and i havent received any notifations nor am able to view live video. checked wifi and working. when ring button pressed , chime doesnt work either . subscribed to ring since last month for 1 year . had a chat with customer service and they couldnt help me. last time i had same problem and i was told it was an issue in their end and it was resolved but today i havent got an answer. if this is the case then i would like to dump the ring doorbell. please help if any solution is possible. thanks
Hi @binosusan. Is your Doorbell reporting as offline in the Ring App? If so, you’ll need to reconnect it to your wifi network by navigating to the Device Health page and selecting Reconnect to Wi-Fi. Additionally, while our chat support is currently not able to help with troubleshooting requests, you can still reach our support team via phone at one of the numbers available here. Feel free to give them a call if you’re unable to get your Doorbell up and running. I checked and it was definitely offline , somehow the device stopped connecting to the WiFi . I reset it and connected and is now working perfectly. I think my WiFi has been compromised and I need to change the security settings .
