Linked Floodlight Siren Behavior

So I was curious under which situations the siren will sound on a linked floodlight with the option selected, is this only if a sensor is tripped while the system is armed in away mode, or also in home mode? Also, if I press one of the emergency buttons will this sound the external siren as well or just the internal ones on the keypad and base? Also, if I just do a siren test will this also sound the floodlight siren or just the internal sirens? I could test it to find out but would like to see if anyone knows the answer.
