troubleshooting

I bought a ring doorbell. Not knowing it needed charged over time , it went dead. I removed the doorbell from the front door door jamb to charge. Well, I didn’t try to reinstall it until now, maybe 2 months later, and it says I had to reinstall everything. Using the original S/N and P/W to sign into my original account it says I have to reinstall the doorbell and when trying to it says I have to link to myself from well, myself.. Says link it to myself from the original owner, me, and I have to wait 15 days for this to finish. Anyone know why?

Hi @MADmike2. It sounds like you may have signed into a different Ring account than the one you originally set the Doorbell up under. Can you share a screenshot of what you're seeing in the Ring App? You should still see the Doorbell listed under your Devices tab in the Ring App, even if it needed to be charged or lost its wifi. Do you see anything under the Devices tab in your Ring App?
