Lighting schedule FAILs during internet disruption

XDSL wire to the house was cut today. AT&T will be out to fix it tomorrow. We use a Ring camera for the security light on our driveway. And without connection to the internet it would appear the light on the camera is dependent on an internet connection to follow schedules.

Really, the F/W is that dependent on the cloud it can’t keep a schedule for the light?

The whole idea for dusk to dawn is for security and for pedestrians. Kinda useless if an internet interruption kills such a simple feature?

It would make a LOT of sense if you used the camera to determine to ambient light for switching on and off the lights when in dusk/dawn mode.

I would think fitting it in there with advanced motion detection should be easy???
