My gen 2 keypad, which is plugged in 24/7, is going offline and won’t hold a charge. I’m not sure why the battery is even in-play with the keypad being plugged in. The unit goes completely dead. If I unplug it and plug back in, the keypad shows it is charging. However, it never seems to fully charge and goes offline again within a few hours.
Hi @user51730. First, try plugging the Keypad into a different power outlet and ensure the power cable is firmly connected at both the Keypad and outlet. If that doesn’t work, I’d recommend resetting your Keypad by following the factory reset steps here. After the Keypad has been reset, set it back up in the Ring app.
