Keypad (2nd Gen) Sound Keeps Stopping

Ring Alarm (2nd Gen) keypad sound stops after a few weeks. This is the 3rd or 4th time the sound had dropped off. Each time removing the device and hitting the reset button brings the sound back on. If there anything i am doing or does this sound like a faulty unit.

Basic checks such as checking sound level, alerts etc. always show no result. The only thing which gets the sound back is the remove and reset.
