Just a reminder to all out there including staff at ring

WiFi is a wireless network that is used to connect nearby devices with each other and share the Internet via hotspots. The Internet, on the other hand, is a global network of networks where computers communicate with each other via Internet Protocol.

Wifi and internet are not to be used interchangeably. Every search and question I look for has an answer that uses internet and wifi as the same. It is not the same. Don’t say a device will not work without wifi. Say the device will not work without both being on both a wifi network and the internet. Ring keeps stating that their devices work with wifi. They simply do not. They need internet connection. I have power and my home network is operable. My devices can communicate with one another yet ring devices will not work. The internet is down from my internet service provider therefore my ring devices are now useless.
