I am having an issue connecting one of my door/window sensors and looking for some help. It connected originally for a few minutes, then got disconnected somehow. Now it won’t reconnect. I have tried removing the battery, waiting a few days, and trying a different battery…nothing seems to work. Thanks in advance!
Hey @Concerneduser! Great call performing a power cycle as the first step. Upon entering the battery back into your Contact Sensor, were there any LED lights? If there were, it will confirm that battery power to the device is operating as intended.
The next best step here would be to reset your Contact Sensor and set it up again. Check out our help center article for instructions on how to reset each Alarm device. I hope this helps!
