Is using connectify to make my laptop a router to set up a ring doorbell and app a viable option?

I’m trying to use connectify turn my laptop into a router because I don’t have internet here at my house but I have a hotspot on my phone.

Hi @Pparson36. Ring devices like your Doorbell are designed to be used with a stable wifi connection and not a mobile hotspot. You’re welcome to try this out, but we cannot guarantee that it will work properly as it’s still going to be a mobile hotspot.
