Is the “2nd generation doorbell” also known as “Doorbell 2”

I have the original doorbell but Ring don’t sell the corner kit for it anymore and my new house requires the corner kit so I can actually see who is approaching.
I’m keen to buy the 2nd generation but I’m confused about the wording on the website - on the buy doorbell page it’s called the “2nd generation doorbell” and in the accessories page the corner kit says it’s for the “doorbell 2”.

Is it the same thing? I just want to make sure I buy the right doorbell and corner kit :slight_smile:

The Ring Video Doorbell 2’s Corner Kit is indeed different than the Ring Video Doorbell 2nd Generation’s Kit, and the one you are looking at is for the Doorbell 2, not the Doorbell 2nd Generation.
