iPhone alerts and detection when at home

Question

I’m sure I saw an article recently about setting your security cam to detect your iPhone when you were home so it didn’t keep sending alerts - any one who can help or point me to the article?

Hi @user45907. This would be the [Geofence](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052805372-Geofence-in-the-Ring-App) feature, which requires a Ring Protect subscription to use. The Geofence will send you reminders to change the Mode on your system when you leave or arrive home, and can be set to snooze motion alerts for a set amount of time after arriving home. You can also use the [Motion Snooze](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000047206-How-to-Use-Motion-Snooze-and-Global-Snooze) feature to manually snooze motion alerts for a specified amount of time.
