Installing on uneven surface

I’m trying to figure out how best to install my new battery powered ring doorbell. I’m not able to install on the siding - renting and can’t damage the siding (if there’s a way to do it without damaging the siding lmk). And the door frame is an uneven trim with a small flat part. Any recommendations or accessories I can buy to help install ?
