Installing app on new phone without access to app on old phone
I’m setting up my father’s phone with the Ring app. His previous phone was a low-end phone that didn’t have much storage, so he didn’t have the Ring app installed, but did have it on the phone he had before that. That phone was wiped and reset at the time he switched over to his next phone.Because Ring is now requiring a code to be generated from the app on the previous install. we cannot generate a code to allow him to log in with the app on the new phone. What’s the workaround for this? Can we get his Ring account deleted and recreated?

Instead of deleting and recreating the Ring account, you might want to try reaching out to Ring’s customer support. They’re usually pretty helpful with these kinds of issues. Explain the situation, and they should be able to guide you on the best way to set up the Ring app on your father’s new phone without the need for the code from the previous install. And hey, if you’re into getting app discounts, you might want to check out AppLooter.com. They sometimes have sweet deals.
