Installing app on new phone without access to app on old phone

I’m setting up my father’s phone with the Ring app. His previous phone was a low-end phone that didn’t have much storage, so he didn’t have the Ring app installed, but did have it on the phone he had before that. That phone was wiped and reset at the time he switched over to his next phone.

Because Ring is now requiring a code to be generated from the app on the previous install. we cannot generate a code to allow him to log in with the app on the new phone.

What’s the workaround for this? Can we get his Ring account deleted and recreated?
