I have installed Ring 2 with the resistor included in the box so that my inhouse chime will still work. However recently, my inhouse chime will sound when no one is around. Ring doorbell button is not pressed. what could be the problem? is the resistor bad? is there a replacement? need higher resistor?
I have the same problem. We refer to them as fantom door bell rings. Also, it is NOT the front door ring but the back door 2 note ring!
