As an indoor security cam, it should be able to turn on/off the camera activation only when the ring alarm system is activated for away mode.

The new, expanded Mode feature is suppose to do this but it hasn’t been released yet.

I’m just hoping this new feature actually works like we want.
It is 1/18/2020 and I do not see the mode setting. Whan are they coming out?
Still rolling out. Someone posted today they got it. I finally received a firmware update today as well. So, it’s in the works.
Received a reply from ring that told me it was on a slow rollout and to expect my the end of the month. It is in mode settings.
