Indoor Cam audio 2-way talk feature not working

Hello all!

I’m hoping to find a resolution for my indoor camera’s talk feature. When i am in live view mode and press the green button, the audio is not working on the camera (I am talking into the app on my phone, but no audio can be heard on the camera). When I speak into the app, I can hear the sound that the camera is picking up stop, like the audio wants to play, but there is nothing that comes out of the camera. It was working fine last week and hadn’t really used it for a couple days and now it’s not working. I tried unplugging it for a while and then plugging it back in (IT 101), but that did not fix the issue. I verified that the audio is turned on in both mine and my wife’s app. I made sure my microphone was unmuted as well. This issue is happening on both mine and my wife’s phones.

Any other suggestions?

Hey @RingOwner1. There’s a couple things we can do to see if we can get this back up and running! A few things to consider are that you both have bluetooth devices connected, that this may limit the ability of 2-way talk during the Live View. You could try disabling the bluetooth device(s) and then trying it again, to see if it’s working. If there is still no success, please try removing the app from your phone, rebooting your phone, and then reinstalling this.

For the reinstall, if this is successful, have your wife do the same and it should be fixed! If the concern still persists, you can try giving the device a soft reset by pressing and holding the setup button for 30 seconds. From there, give it a shot and let us know how this goes. :smiley_cat:
