Can I use the indoor cable outdoors too? When the indoor cable and the outdoor cable are clicked together , what you have to do for outdoor use, the indoor cable is also outside so I don’t see the difference. And the two cables clicked together is way too long so I want to use the indoor cable only if possible.

Yes! If you are using this Indoor/ Outdoor Power Adapter, connecting the cables together as you described will make it Outdoor ready. Please also ensure to place this in an area where it would not be submerged in water or damaged. 
Thanks for your answer. You say that the cables connected will make it outdoor ready. I know, but that’s not my question. I wanna know if I can use the indoor cable outdoors (not connected to the outside cable). So the adapter will be directly in the wall outlet.
