Inability to add photos to new pet profile (possible defect)

This issue still exists and the option for allowing full access does not exist in iOS settings.

Most importantly, why does Ring ask users to grant access to their entire photo library? The option to ‘add selected photos’ seems misleading. Ring should not have access to personal photos or image metadata. As a paid customer, this raises safety concerns for me. I’m disappointed that privacy-centric options are not accessible, and app features require handing over private information.
