I already use Ring at my current home. I am building a 2nd home and only am using the Ring Floodlight Cam Pro. Do I need any other equipment? Base station? Extenders?
Hi @Lubemeister. No, you don’t need anything else in order to use the Ring Floodlight Cam Pro. Just make sure you have a power source that meets the requirements as outlined on the product page as well as a working wifi connection that it can connect to. We typically recommend that your wifi router be no more than about 20 or 25 feet from your Ring device to ensure it can maintain a stable connection.
