Hi. I have been gifted my brothers old Ring doorbell and it says it is registered to another user but it isn’t showing in his device list to deregister the old one. Can anyone suggest what to do here?
Hi @user7053. This Help Center article here will go over the steps needed for transferring ownership of a Ring Device. I would ensure that your brother was the owner of the device and not just as Shared User, as the owner needs to remove the device from the Ring app to unregister it. If you still need help with this, you’ll have to contact our support team to manually transfer the device ownership.
