I’ve moved into a house with a ring alarm

I’ve moved into a new house with a ring alarm, but it won’t let me register. I’ve reset it, unplugged it, and now am stuck as I don’t know the previous owners details.

How can I log it to my name, and set it up with my account? I want to get a doorbell but won’t until I know the alarm is sorted.
