I have the Ring and Lost night vision after hardwiring.

Lost night vision after hardwiring. We had great night vision when we had it on battery, we found we were charging more often so we decide to hardwire it. I did call Customer Service and we did a reboot, it did not work. Did this happen to anyone and is there a fix?

I would appreciate any advice.

I just wanted to ask you a few questions so I can get a better idea of what’s happening.

  1. Is this a Ring Pro? Ring 2? Ring Classic?

  2. Have you tried a power cycle?

If you have the Ring video doorbell 1 or 2, perform a reset on the device by holding down the setup button for 20 seconds. Once done, you’ll need to set up the device again with your Ring app then test a video during night time.
