How to Turned off message recording if you don’t answer the door bell, currently ring doorbell bell is asking to leave the message. I my opinion this is kind of security issue and telling people , we are not at home and leave your message.

Hi @user43893. It sounds like you're referring to the [Ring Quick Replies](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360056808171-How-to-Set-Up-Ring-Quick-Replies-in-the-Ring-App-) feature. You can turn this feature off by navigating to your Doorbell from the devices list in the Ring app and selecting the Smart Responses tile. From there, toggle Quick Replies off. I hope this helps.
