  Hi! lfitz here from Las Vegas! I enjoy all the features of my Ring Doorbell except for the new “Hi, You are currently being recorded”. I went to the Ring Doorbell settings and turned off the feature, yet, it still ‘speaks’! Any insight/resolution? Thanks!

  I have additional info for those of you who cannot find the "Motion Warning" in the smartphone app. The Motion Warning switch is only visible on the user interface on the Ring's website. 1. Sign in to your Ring account on a browser. 2. Go to the dashboard 3. Click the settings icon under the Camera section. 4. Turn it off

  My problem is I bought it as a baby monitor nanny cam so if turn the motion off I don’t get notifications.if I leave it on it wakes him up. It’s basically useless now for the reason I bought it.

  Hi @Meg317. You do not need to turn off Motion Detection or Motion Alerts in order to disable the Motion Warning feature. The Motion Warning is optional, and can be toggled off with the steps below.* Tap the three lines on the top left in the Ring app* Tap Devices* Tap the specific device you want to adjust this setting for.* Toggle off Motion Warning in the top right

  I have a ring camera/floodlight. I want the recording announcement to be active when I'm not home, but it's annoying as you know what to hear the announcement 87 times a day when I walk out of the house. But when I disable it, I invariably forget to enable it when I leave! There is a "sleep" mode for motion alerts but Is there a "sleep" for the warning announcement ? That would be ideal !

  I just installed the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired this morning and have been playing with it all day. Please correct me if I’m writing but, I’m disappointed to learn that the “Hi, you are behind recorded” cannot be scheduled to announce only at specified times and the volume cannot be adjusted. How can this be? This is an easy programming fix and Ring needs to get it done!
