How to set camera to record snapshots only at night?

Ring Stick Up. I would prefer only snapshots upon detection of movement of any kind between the hours of sunset and sunrise, but apparently these cameras cannot be set to give me that. So am I correct I can only reduce the length of videos to 15 seconds instead of having snapshots? Am I also correct that there is no automatic setting to have the camera’s work only during certain hours? (I know I can limit the alerts to certain hours, that is not what I am after). So I have to put the camera’s in “disarmed” mode in the mornings and change them to one of the other modes at night?

Hi @Ellen33. Snapshots and recordings are different from each other. Snapshots are not videos; they are still images that the Camera will take that are only viewable in the Event Timeline History page in the Ring app. You are able to adjust the frequency with which they are taken. The recordings that automatically occur will happen when your Camera detects motion. The recording length can be adjusted for these recordings. As for your Camera stopping motion recordings automatically on a schedule, that is not available. As we value our neighbors’ feedback, we’ve created a Feature Request board.
