How to reset Glass Break Sensor "Tampered" alarm>

My Glass Break Sensor tampered whilst I was setting it up for the first time. I can’t figure out how to reset the tamper alert.

I’ve tried:

  • Hold reset with batteries installed
  • Hold reset with batteries removed
  • Reconfigure device from advanced settings in app
  • Remove device from app and then re-install

Lots of Google searching has resulted in nothing.

Any ideas?

Hi @grahamc. Those were excellent troubleshooting steps to try. The main reason a Glass Break Sensor will go into a tampered state is because the tamper switch is not pressed down correctly when the sensor is closed. I would recommend double-checking that you have the lock symbol aligned with the line.
