How to reset base station red light

My base station has red light after an alarm was triggered. I disarmed and armed it again but the light is still red. How do I make it blue again?

  1. Unplug the Base Station from its power source.
  2. Remove the battery from the device.
  3. Replace the battery, and re-plug your device back in.
  4. After a full power cycle, the device should be reset.

Hi there, neighbors! Power cycling the Base Station by removing power for a moment then reapplying, could work, but it is likely that your Alarm Base Station will go into battery backup mode. We do not advise removing the Base Station battery, but there is a “reset” pin hole on the Base Station in which a quick press may help. I recommend also checking the Base Station device health in your Ring app to confirm status and connection.

Please note, our help center article states that performing a factory reset on your Base Station should be done with our support team. Please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available here.
