How do I connect chime pro to a shared doorbell?

My husband is the owner of the our Ring video doorbell. We have it hardwired for power but we don’t have an actual doorbell chime. So I purchased the Chime Pro and set it up under my email so I am the owner. My husband added me as a shared user for the Ring doorbell. Can I connect my chime pro with the shared doorbell? For some reason it won’t allow me to add him as a shared user on the chime pro.

Hi @Vivian_6463. Shared Users of a Doorbell cannot link it to a Chime Pro. You will have to remove it from your account and have the owner of the Doorbell setup the Chime Pro on their account in order to link them together. To remove the Chime Pro from your account, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Ring app
  2. Tap the three lines (≡) on the top left corner of your Dashboard.
  3. Tap Devices.
  4. Select your Chime Pro.
  5. Tap General Settings.
  6. Select Remove this Device.
