Just installed Ring Doorbell Pro. Very muffled and somewhat buzzy audio sound coming out of the Ring Doorbell Pro. Sounds like Absolute Garbage!! Shame on Ring for selling such a product!!! Only preprogrammed recording sounds clear out the speaker.
Sorry to hear about this @korb_62! The best first thing to check for audio quality is wifi signal strength and resources. Check out our Community post about RSSI for tips on optimizing this signal strength. I recommend also testing 2.4 Ghz versus 5 Ghz connection to see if this improves.
Removing and reinstalling the Ring app is a quick way to ensure it is up to date and optimally integrated with your mobile device. On your mobile device, try testing audio on wifi only, and then on data only, to see if either connection is more efficient. Please also ensure bluetooth and VPN is disabled. I hope this helps!
