I have ad a Ring Pro installed for a few months now and last week my home doorbell started ringing and would not stop. I had to disconnect one of the wires in order to get it stop. What could be causing this?
Hi @putzhead. First, you’ll want to check your chime kit to make sure it is compatible with the Doorbell Pro. You can check the list of compatible digital and mechanical chimes in our Help Center Article here. Once you’ve made sure the chime kit is compatible, check to make sure all of the wiring is in order and that nothing is frayed or damaged on the chime kit itself either. If everything is compatible and the wiring looks good, our support team can take a closer look to determine what may be causing this.
