High energy usage Ring App on MacBook Pro 13" 2021

I noticed that the Ring App consumes ridiculous high CPU making the laptop temp increase to around 62 degrees Celsius. After I removed the app the temp dropped to a stable 33-36 degrees Celsius I read another post which stated that the issue was fixed but it seems it's either back or never got fixed. It made me decide to remove the app because I wasn't able to put my laptop on my lap anymore. As a side effect it also drained the battery.
